Plein Air Newberry is the perfect opportunity for artists like you to get out and paint, creating artistic community. It’s really simple! On Saturday, April 27th, artists will choose a painting location in Newberry County, paint to their heart’s (or eyes’) content, have their piece ready for judging by 4:00PM, and listen for their name to be announced at the awards ceremony at 5:30PM! See below for additional details:

Date: Saturday, April 27, 10AM – 5:30PM, rain or shine
Location: Newberry Art Center (NAC), 1200 Main Street, Newberry, SC

Cost:

$25 – Early Bird Registration now through January 31, 2024
$25 – Member Registration for Active 2024 SCWS Members
$35 – Late Registration February 1 – April 22, 2024
$20 – Student Registration
Reception cost is included.
Registration Deadline: April 22nd
Check In Time: 10AM at the NAC
Submission Time: 4PM at the NAC
Award Ceremony: 5:30PM at the NAC, includes four monetary awards:

1st Place – $150, 2nd Place – $100, 3rd Place – $75, Honorable Mention – $25
