Tuesdays beginning February 23 - March 30 from 1:00-4:00 pm. 6 week class This class is for beginners who are interested in learning pottery basics. This is for the true beginner or anyone who needs a refresher course. For ages 16 and up. Includes 1 bag of clay, instruction, glazes, firings and limited open studio time. This class is taught by Katie Sherfield-Tarver, an award-winning artist who lives on Lake Greenwood with her husband and pack of rescue dogs. She graduated from Lander University with a Bachelor's degree in Visual Art with an emphasis in Graphic Design. During her senior year, she filled her elective credits with ceramics classes and absolutely fell in love! Her senior year was spent in the ceramics studio learning all that she could in her spare time.
