The City of Newberry is pleased to announce the “Newberry-PMPA Community Scholar” Scholarship. Currently this is a onetime scholarship program offering three scholarship levels ($1,000, $750, and $250) which may be applied to tuition at any South Carolina accredited College, University or Technical School.

Clemson University's Department of Parks, Recreation and Tourism Management has completed a Comprehensive Parks, Recreation and Tourism Strategic Plan for the City of Newberry. The final report was presented to City Council at the April 12, 2011 meeting.
