Monday, October 7 Homecoming Kickoff

Turn in your team’s banner for the banner competition no later than noon. Banners must be hung by 12:00pm on Monday by each organization. Judging will take place on Tuesday!

Homecoming Bonfire and Cookout                        7-10 p.m.                   CTE Field
Enjoy a cookout and bonfire under the stars at the Speer Street Field. The 2018 Homecoming Court will be announced at this event!

Tuesday, October 8

Office Decorating Contest Judged                             3 p.m.                           Various Offices

Paint the Town Scarlet & Gray Judged                     5 p.m.                          Downtown Newberry
Each team will partner with a Newberry business to decorate their storefront and Paint the Town Scarlet & Gray!! Teams will receive points toward the Homecoming Week Competition and extra points for placing. The business will also receive a certificate for participating.

Enjoy an evening of paint and sipping non-alcoholic beverages for a quiet evening during the best week.

Start collecting your canned goods now! Newberry Can-Struct is a competition to build the best canned food structure featuring the overall Homecoming theme.

It’s Throwback Thursday so we’re having a true throwback Bingo! Come enjoy fast paced bingo, with cool prizes, while jamming to the best music of the 80’s, 90’s, and early 2000’s. Don’t forget to dress the part as well!

Friday, October 11

Wolf Fest is the latest tradition event for Homecoming. The All Campus Entertainment presents a day of inflatables with free food, activities, and games for an evening of fun to continue Homecoming Week. Organizations provide tables and host individual events. Must submit event ideas to the Office of Student Engagement and Greek Life

Saturday, October 12- Homecoming Day!

Most Spirited Tailgate Competition               12p.m.-2 p.m.           Tailgating Area
Register your tailgate to be judged in the Most Spirited Tailgate competition! Entrants are encouraged to incorporate the theme.
