The All Skills Camp is designed to offer campers a solid skill foundation in all areas of the game. Fundamental instruction will be provided for passing, setting, serving, hitting, and blocking. The camp will also include team and game situations and will cater to all skill levels while placing each camper in a group based on their level of skill.

Walk-Up Registrations: All registration for walk-up campers will be July 7th from 12:00pm - 1:30pm in Eleazer Arena. Please make sure to have a copy of your physical (not older than one year) and insurance card.

Check-In Locations:
-Overnight Campers check in at Cromer Hall Main Lobby.
-Commuter Campers check in at the Eleazer Arena Main Entrance (Physical Education Complex)

Camp Location: Eleazer Arena (Physical Education Complex) Newberry Campus Map

Camp Features:

  • Players will receive instruction and training in all phases of volleyball for three nights from the Newberry Coaching staff and players.
  • The athletes will finish the camp with a closing ceremony at Eleazer Arena. This begins at 4:30 PM. on the final day of camp. Parents are welcome to attend.
  • Campers will be dismissed from the main floor Eleazer Arena at 5:00 PM on the last day of camp.
  • Day Campers will be dropped off and picked up at Eleazer Arena each morning and evening. A schedule for commuter campers will be available for parents at camp registration.

Necessary Equipment:

Overnight Campers: T-shirts, shorts, gym shoes, socks, knee pads, towels, twin bedding, toiletry items and a water bottle are all necessary items. We will have pizzas and other snacks available each night for nominal cost. Campers must manage their own money.

Commuter Campers: T-shirts, shorts, gym shoes, socks, knee pads, and a water bottle.  *Breakfast is not included for commuter campers. Commuters will need to make sure they eat before arriving at camp each day


Camp Rules: Campers are not allowed to be off campus unless with an organized and supervised camp group. Early departures must furnish written parental notice to the Camp Director at camp check-in. Campers will be supervised by coaches at all times. Failure to comply with these rules will result in immediate dismissal from camp without a refund.

Cromer and Kinard Halls are 24 hour, secure, air-conditioned residence hall, and will have female staff members residing on each floor.

Refund Policy: The deposit (less $50 administrative fee) is refundable if notification is received 14 days before my daughter’s camp begins. If notification is not received within 14 days before the opening of camp, no refunds will be made.

  • 6:45pm – 9:00 pm – 2nd Session
  • 9:00pm – 10:00 pm - Canteen is open
  • 11:00 pm – Bed Check

July 8th

  • 8:00am - Breakfast
  • 9:00am-11:30am – Third Session
  • 11:30am-1:00pm - Lunch
  • 1:00pm-4:00pm – Fourth Session
  • 4:00pm-5:00pm - Relax at Dorms
  • 5:00pm-6:30pm - Dinner
  • 6:45pm-9:00pm – Fifth Session
  • 9:00pm–10:00 pm - Canteen is open
  • 11:00 pm – Bed Check

July 9th

  • 8:00am - Breakfast
  • 9:00am-11:30am – Sixth Session
  • 11:30am-1:00pm - Lunch
  • 1:00pm-4:00pm - Seventh Session
  • 4:00 pm–Camp Closing Ceremony
  • 4:30pm–5:30 pm – Check out
