Salary Range: $30,856 - $45,637

 

ELECTRIC LINEMAN C - performs construction, maintenance, repair and connection duties to the City's electrical system. Work involves operating various heavy equipment, building and maintaining primary and secondary systems.  Requires high school diploma supplemented by one to two years of progressively responsible technical experience in electrical line work or an equivalent of education, training and experience.  Must have or be able to obtain Class A commercial drivers license.  Must be able to complete weeks one, two, three and six of Line Worker Training School classes and possess a Class "C" certification.

MUNICIPAL CLERK/SENIOR ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT - performs advanced administrative duties in support of City Council, the City Manager's Office and the Human Resources Office.  Work involves attending City Council meetings, preparing agendas and recording minutes of all City Council meetings as well as preparation of support documents such as ordinances, resolutions, proclamations, etc.  Work includes typing reports, replying to correspondence, maintaining a complex filing system, answering telephone, scheduling appointments, receiving and processing citizens inquiries/complaints.  Requires a technical college diploma supplement by two to three years of administrative assistance experience.  Must have a valid S.C. driver's license.  Must complete three year Municipal Clerk's Institute program.

HUMAN RESOURCES DIRECTOR/RISK MANAGEMENT COORDINATOR - performs all human resources functions in communicating policies, procedures, benefits, disability, retirement etc. to employees.  Work involves administering Fair Labor Standards Act, Family Medical Leave Act, Occupational Safety and Health Act, Affordable Care Act and other federally mandated program and laws as well as State laws and City regulations.  Coordinates safety policies and training throughout workforce.  Requires a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration or Human Resources with three to five years of experience in Human Resource environment.  Must have a valid S.C. driver's license.
