Write a letter to the Internal Affairs, Newberry Police Department, 1507 Nance Street, Newberry, SC 29108 (Fax: 803-321-1004). Complete the Citizen Complaint Form and bring or mail it to Newberry Police Department. The officer receiving your complaint will attempt to make the process as easy and comfortable as possible for you. The Interview An officer will address the complaint with you. If may be possible that the officer will be able to explain the employee's actions to your satisfaction. If, after this discussion, you are satisfied, then no further action will be taken. However, if the complaint is not resolved at that time, the officer will make a record of your complaint and forward to the appropriate personnel.
